With Safebasements you can be confident that you are getting the most complete and affordable solution to your basement problems.
"With moisture problems the best approach is almost always to remove or control the source of the moisture, not to try to stop it at the last line of defense."
University of Minnesota Extension,
"An Overview of Solutions to Basement Moisture Problems"
In this chart, you can see how SafeBasements Waterproofing stacks up against the most popular systems out there today:

Drain water from walls - while many systems work to drain water away from your home or to remove water once it gets there, the best systems actually remove water from the walls themselves. This gives you a first line of defense against water invasion.
Lower water table below floor - most houses sit in what is called a "clay bowl", meaning the hole excavated for the basement was filled but the ground around it is more porous than the original, so it acts as a collection point. This means your house can literally be sitting in a pool of water. The best systems actually drain any water around your house away, so it can't find a way in.
No need for expensive high capacity humidifier - if your waterproofing system is working, you don't have a lot of moisture in the air that needs to be removed. A high capacity dehumidifier is really just another type of pump. The bigger the pump, the more it drains your household budget. Eliminate the moisture before it gets in and you won’t have to pump it out.
No need for drainage floor covering - some systems put a false floor in your basement, using this to then collect and funnel the water and moisture in your basement out through a drain. Our system keeps the water from getting in to begin with, eliminating the additional expense of a drainage floor covering.
Radon system compatible - Radon, the invisible and cancer-causing radioactive gas, is a problem in many areas. Radon can enter your home through any route moisture comes in - and then spread throughout your home. A waterproofing system needs to integrate with your radon system to ensure it doesn't simply compound the problem.
Erosion control - waterproofing systems shouldn't aggravate any erosion problem you have or start new ones. Our system filters the water out and away from your home, not the soil.
Clog proof - this is essential. Once you put in a waterproofing system around your home, it needs to last for the rest of the life of that building. You don't want to have to dig up your lawn every few years to unclog your system, which is why our system is clog-proof!!
Sealed system, improves indoor air quality - The essential reason for a waterproofing system is to keep moisture out. When this is achieved, the air is no longer moist and cannot carry odd smells from mold or its microscopic spores. As well, the odors of water-borne minerals (such as sulfur) cannot enter your breathing space. There simply is no water to bring them in.

Sump Pumps
Part of any basement finishing is to prepare for the worst. Sump pumps are the back up for any extreme water-pressure problems brought on by excessive rains and flooding.
Protect your home from devastating flooding that could cost you thousands of dollars in damage. Your family's security is beyond cost - but this doesn't mean you have to pay more to get the safety of a dry basement
